First African American & First Woman to serve as Social Studies Department Chair at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Poly)Since 1999, Patrice has served as a dedicated educator with Baltimore City Public Schools, bringing over two decades of classroom leadership and curriculum development to urban public education. She expands her impact nationally as a consultant for The College Board, where she supports the implementation of the AP African American Studies curriculum through teacher training, pedagogical guidance, and professional development.
